It's totally normal to feel a little awkward at first, I even feel that way when I get in front of the camera. But it's my goal to make it a fun experience, so trust me as the session goes on you'll totally forget you ever felt awkward. 

And don't worry about your kids. I love kids and with being a nanny for many years, I come well prepared with lots of fun creative ways to capture even the busiest of little ones.

What should we wear?

The sooner the better! My weeks tend to fill up pretty quickly - especially during the spring and fall, so the sooner you reach out to me, the more likely you are to get your desired date!  Weekends are typically saved for weddings, so I only book sessions during the week. 

To reserve your date, I will send you a booking file to sign a small contract as well as putting down a deposit. And if something comes up and you need to change your date, just let me know!

How far in advance should we book?

I think the dreamy golden glow is everyone's favorite for pictures. But we all know the sun sometimes doesn't shine and sometimes rain comes too. Being a wedding photographer, I have worked in all kinds of weather. So I know how to make any weather still look beautiful. But if the weather forecast isn't looking promising and rain is not what you had in mind for your session, then we'll be in touch via email or phone to reschedule. Often, when we're scheduling our initial portrait session date, if it works for our calendars, we'll actually set up both a main date and a rain date just to make sure we don't have to postpone your session for very long if the weather is bad on the original date.
