I am a stop and smell the roses kind of girl. I find joy in the little things - intentional conversations with close friends or family, picking wildflowers off the side of the road, packing a picnic by the lake, enjoying the sunshine while hand writing letters, or finding a new flavor of tea to add to my collection.

One of the sweetest parts about my photography career has been sharing this passion with my sister and friend, Naomi. Early in my career, we’d spend days laying on our beds, watching online courses to grow in our craft, and dressing up in our best outfits to practice what we’d learned on one another. Looking back at those images now, it’s crazy how far we’ve come.
We may not be twins (though we used to be mistaken for them!), but we share a remarkable bond and a lot in common. Our love for the Lord and investing in others shines through in everything we do. And our favorite times are spent swing dancing, going thrift shopping, or grabbing boba.

Walking down my grandparents’ hallway as a child, the walls filled with wedding photos that felt like windows into the past—images of my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and my parents, each one bursting with joy and love. I remember standing there, imagining the moments behind those black-and-white frames. Each picture gave me a glimpse into those special moments and allowed me to tangibly witness my family’s legacy of love. When I turned twelve, my grandpa passed down his digital camera to me, it became full of so many special memories captured of our lives.
Sparked my love for weddings
It wasn’t until my brother asked me to photograph his wedding, several years later, that I truly fell in love with weddings. Each moment was incredibly personal, showcasing God’s beautiful design for marriage.
My hope is that when each of my couples look back on the day they said, “I do!”, whether it’s their first anniversary or decades later surrounded by their children and grandchildren, they see the legacy of God’s love in their lives like my grandparent’s wall did for me.
I’ll never forget the joy in his eyes as he watched his bride walk down the aisle, the tear rolling down her cheek as her bridesmaids prayed for her. I realized then what honor it was to document these cherished moments, knowing that their children and future grandchildren would one day see the joy and love flowing out of their commitment to each other.
